FAQ
Do I need special software?
No. Portrait Reveal runs entirely in a web browser — yours and your client's.
Can clients use it on their phone?
Yes, and most do. The whole client experience — the reveal, photographing their wall, placing artwork, ordering — is built mobile-first, because that's where a family sitting on their sofa will actually open your link.
Does a client have to upload a photo of their wall?
No, stock wall photos are available.
Can I use this in an in-person sales appointment?
Yes, use it during an IPS session and design wall art together. Just remember to ask your clients to send you a photo of their wall(s). You can display the wall art on a second screen while you design it on the other. The same gallery can then be sent home as a private link if they want to talk it over and look again later.
Can clients complete orders at home on their own?
Yes. Send the private gallery link and they can go through the reveal, try artwork on their wall, and confirm an order without you present. The order lands in your dashboard and you're emailed straight away, so you can invoice them through your normal invoicing and payment methods.
Can I sell things other than wall art?
Yes. Digital packages and other printed products can sit alongside the wall art with your own pricing. Wall art is what the experience is optimised to upsell.
Will clients be able to copy my photos?
A watermark can be applied when you upload a gallery. You can change the watermark text.
How long does setup take?
It take minutes to get set up. Frames, canvas sizes and multi-photo collection layouts come preloaded, so you can add your own pricing and start straight away, then add and adjust products as desired.
What's included in the plan?
Everything — there's only one plan. You can run up to 50 galleries at any one time, with up to 100 photos in each. Galleries you've finished with can be removed to free up space, so the limit is about how many are live at once. This should be plenty for portrait photographers but contact us if this becomes a problem and we'll find a solution.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from your billing page, with no contract and no cancellation fee. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and your galleries and orders stay available for 90 days afterwards in case you come back.
